Scooter-Owning Women: A New Market for Revzilla?
Revzilla is one of the leading motorcycle industry parts, clothing and accessory retailers, but the industry is declining. What untapped or underexploited markets might open up new territory?
Women, who are the fastest growing market segment, specifically women who own or are considering buying scooters, could significantly impact their bottom line. The following, originally presented as a video (linked below) comes from a speculative strategic plan for why and how this could work.
Process
To prepare the report, I conducted extensive research and analysis of the following:
- SWOT assessment of Revzilla and their market position
- Current and projected motorcycle and scooter industry sales trends, particularly in regards to gender
- Product listings at Revzilla, and their competitors (both direct and orthogonal)
- Marketing and advertising materials of Revzilla and their competitors, particularly social media
- Hypothetical marketing funnel goals and strategies
- SEO results for current and potential search terms
All of these are best explained in the presentation.
I created original artwork, primarily using MidJourney AI, but also using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, for potential social media posts or page mockups, as well as to enhance the look, feel, and impact of the report.
Outcome & Impacts
As this was a speculative project, it had no real-world impacts. As an experiment, particularly with AI asset generation, I felt I created surprisingly compelling content.
